Pros and cons of iCardio Workout Tracker app for iPhone and iPad

iCardio Workout Tracker app good for

I use this app to to log my spinning sessions in my basement, my weekend rides outside, my lunchtime walks, and evening runs. I would like some kind of integration with MyFitnessPal for diet logging. On my iPod, I have been able to use my external gps from Dual Inc. for gps logging.
Works great with iPhone 5 + Polar H7. Cant see it being very great without the H7. One annoying thing is that their webapp pulls in your weight logs fron Fitbit, but their iOS app does not. Pretty dumb. It could easily grab it direct from Fitbit or their own webapp. They also have several identical apps under different names.
Plug and play - great graphic displays - made me work harder than I would have without the HR monitor. Looking forward to accelerated results using digifit!
Tracks distance well with the Garmin foot pod. I just wish it would give you the choice between speed in mph & number of strides when using the running program. Other than that it works great. Love the integration with My Fitness Pal.
I picked up this to track my time in the gym and graph my progress. I picked up the scale, blood pressure monitor, heart rate monitor as well, and they all work perfectly and store my data in one place for easy viewing. I would give this a 5 out of 5 but all other reviews about stability are true. The app does crash at least 2 out of every 10 uses but only while you are starting to setup a routine. Its never happened during a work out for me yet, and when it happens its usually when I flip back and forth between email or phone calls.
Works great . Glad to see it supports Bluetooth Smart devices like the Mio Alpha

Some bad moments

As soon as you create an user in this "company", they start to flood you with spam. Avoid them.
I used this app for alms a year, but since 7.02 it does not work anymore for me. It does not recognize Garmin sensor. I changed the sensor. Same problem.
After update 7.61 the app started to loose the signal from wahoo BT!!! HELP!!!
Great screens, easy to interface with Garmin ANT+, BUT it sometimes refuses to recognize the Garmin, sometimes freezes, sometimes crashes. The GarmimFit app has fewer features but it has never failed to recognize the sensor (even immediately after DigiFit fails to do so). DigiFit Forums seem aware of the problem. (AND these intermittent problems persist after reloading the app, cleaning the contacts on sensor, replacing the battery - waiting 10 secs - trashing and relinking the sensor) So I got a Polar H7 sensor. DigiFit had no problem pairing with the Polar bluetooth sensor (with the Polar strap or the old Garmin strap). The DigiFit tracking is still erratic - dropping by 10-15 bpm in the middle of a workout and the bouncing back. Happens every 5 - 10 mins
Do not spend the money on the in-app purchase. It does not work with the Garmin ANT + Adaptor or the Garmin Heart Rate Monitor or the Garmin Foot Pod. Very disappointing!!! Do not spend your money!!
I paid for the routines and device upgrades. I love the HRM support (Polar H7). I just started using the routines feature, but when I sync, it crashes the app. Error log points to a feature not implemented error so I tried all the repair sync thing from others in forums. Uninstalled and re-installed the app and crashes stopped, but routines still do not sync to web portal with similar not implanted error. The support section of their website has tech and sales email links, BUT THEY DO NOT WORK!!. They just link to void(). Why did I pay for a feature not implemented ? If youre reading, please have you support staff contact me or tell your webmaster to learn how to create a contact us page! Sync Repair now crashes too!
